Sets the properties of the surface texture for the selected 3-D object. This feature is only available after you apply a surface texture to the selected object. To quickly apply a surface texture, open the Gallery, hold down Shift+Ctrl, and then drag an image onto the selected 3-D object.
Textures
Open the context menu of the 3-D object, choose 3-D Effects - Textures tab.
Sets the texture properties.

Converts the texture to black and white.

Converts the texture to colour.
Colour
Show or hide shading.
Applies the texture without shading.
Only Texture
Applies the texture with shading. To define the shading options for the texture, click the Shading button in this dialogue box.

Set the options for displaying the texture.
Automatically adjusts the texture based on the shape and size of the object.
Object-specific
Applies the texture parallel to the horizontal axis.
Parallel
Wraps the horizontal axis of the texture pattern around a sphere.
Circular
Click the respective buttons to define the texture for the object y-axis.
Automatically adjusts the texture based on the shape and size of the object.
Object-specific
Applies the texture parallel to the vertical axis.
Parallel
Wraps the vertical axis of the texture pattern around a sphere.
Circular
Filters out some of the 'noise' that can occur when you apply a texture to a 3-D object.
Blurs the texture slightly to remove unwanted speckles.

Click here to apply the properties shown in the dialogue box to the selected object.

Click here to view in the dialogue box all the properties of the selected object.
Update
Displays a preview of the current selection.
Use this icon to convert a selected 2D object to a 3D object. You can also select several 2D objects and convert them to one single 3D object. To convert a group of 2D objects to 3D, you must first ungroup the selected objects.

Click here to convert a selected 2D object to a 3D rotation object. You can also select several 2D objects and convert them to one single 3D rotation object. To convert a group of 2D objects to 3D, you must first ungroup the selected objects.

Click here to turn the perspective view on or off.
