Expert Configuration

To access this command...

Choose Tools - Options - Office - Advanced - Open Expert Configuration.

Opens the Expert Configuration dialogue box for advanced settings and configuration of Office. The Expert Configuration dialogue box allows user to access hundreds of Office configuration preferences, and most of them are not available in the user interface or in the options dialogue boxes.

The Expert Configuration dialogue box lets you access, edit and save configuration preferences that can harm your Office user profile. It can turn the user profile of Office unstable, inconsistent or even unusable. Proceed only if you know what you are doing.
