Choose File - Print. The General tab page of the dialogue box opens.
Click on Properties. This opens the Properties dialogue box for your printer.
Select the option to print in black and white. For further information, refer to the user's manual of your printer.
Confirm the Properties dialogue box and click Print.
The current document will be printed in black and white.
Choose Tools - Options - Office Impress or Tools - Options - Office Draw, as appropriate.
Then choose Print.
Under Quality, select either Greyscale or Black & white and click OK.
When either of these options is selected, all presentations or drawings will be printed without colour. If you only want to print in black for the current print job, select the option in File - Print - Office Draw/Impress.
Greyscale converts all colours to a maximum of 256 gradations from black to white. All text will be printed in black. A background set by Format - Page - Background will not be printed.
Black & white converts all colours into the two values black and white. All borders around objects are printed black. All text will be printed in black. A background set by Format - Page - Background will not be printed.
In Office Writer you can choose to print colour-formatted text in black and white. You can specify this either for all subsequent text documents to be printed, or for only the current printing process.
Choose Tools - Options - Office Writer or Tools - Options - Office Writer/Web.
Then choose Print.
Under Contents, mark Print black and click OK.
All text documents or HTML documents will be printed with black text.
Choose File - Print. Then click the Office Writer tab.
Choose Print text in black and click Print.
